In his first career, Pat was a college instructor in biology. He wore himself out, but got through it. In his second career – as a business writer – he nurtured his passion for literature and fiction, writing, on the side, his first novel and collection of short stories. When he had enough funds to safely side-step the life of a starving artist, he set out on his third career – that of a full time writer of whatever he wanted to write.
Pat has written three novels, four plays and three collections of short stories. He has published numerous articles on a wide range of topics and a growing handful of short stories (one of which was awarded a literary prize). Pat’s interest in photography and travel to the crown jewels of Mother Nature in North America and Africa spurred the writing of his last novel Shadows of the Past.
Pat’s books include:
- Shadows of the Past, a novel
- Mater Dei, a novel
- The Life of Jeremy Grady, a novel
- The Librarian and Other Stories
- Kari and Other Stories
- The Nun and Other Stories
